How to add meta tag to blogger

It's important to define meta tag to your blog for SEO purpose & to index your blog to google. A meta tag gives a precise but complete view of your blog. Meta tag is a very important fact to show what your is about & what's are the content about or what is the vision if your blog to search engine. Here is the process to define meta tag of your blogger blog.

Step-1: First go to Edit HTML to your blog.

Step-2:Then find the following line in the html code. You can use Ctrl+F

<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>

[ Important Note: Please back up your blog HTML code before doing anything. And always save your html code & click apply to blog after making any changes]

Then paste this code immediate after this line.

<meta content='DESCRIPTION HERE' name='description'/>
<meta content='KEYWORDS HERE' name='keywords'/>
<meta content='AUTHOR NAME' name='author'/>

Step-3: Customization.

          *In the DESCRIPTION HERE portion give a short description of your blog.

          *In the KEYWORDS HERE portion give the keywords regarding your blog posts. The visitors will               find your post in search engine if they search with the keywords.

          *In the AUTHOR NAME portion give your name as you are the author of your blog.
